I'm about a third of the way through this course and I've already picked up my brushes and paints so much more than I thought! It's a bit addictive once you start, and a lot easier to go with it than I thought. Today I sat for an hour painting a pond scene at a garden. Three weeks ago - I'd never even picked up a paint brush!

I'm loving this course! I appreciate that you are showing the various ways that the paints can react and how to work with them. The balloon shape is simple, but pleasing and easy enough to allow me to enjoy playing with my colors.

I've never been any good at drawing animals, and this class really changed that for me. I was super happy with the results and I learned a few things about using black water-soluble pens that I've never heard of before. In the end, I walked away with skills that have carried over into other projects. Grateful for the class!

This is a lovely and thorough class. Kerrie is a wonderful teacher, giving students detailed video demonstrations which are divided into manageable lessons. I came away with so many helpful tips on how to define my art style, how to draw facial features, how to use my art supplies - and most importantly, how to relax and have fun with my art. The layout of the course is clear, so it's easy to see your progress, come back to where you left off, or replay a lesson. There are several helpful downloads included. It's perfect for beginners, as well as for those who have lost their way or become frustrated with their art. This class is a gentle guide that will inspire students to create!
