Simple elephant paintings with watercolour markers
Learn to do a simple but effective line drawing of an elephant (even if you think you can’t draw)
Turn it into a painting just using water!
Great for beginners and a quick project for those who are time and or attention poor (it’s not just me is it?)
Class supplies
Simplicity is key! Only very limited supplies are needed - you may already have what you need for this class
-
Watercolour paper (or a sketchbook that can take a light wash)
-
Watercolour markers (I will use tombow dual tips and the Elegant Writer, but any watersoluble pen or marker will do)
-
Pencil for sketching
-
Round brush suitable for watercolour
-
I will also use some water colour paints, but these are optional
FAQ
-
How many painting projects are included?
3 full length paintings all in real time, from blank page to finished elephant. Total video time is approximately 120 minutes, but all broken down into manageable pieces.
-
Is it suitable for beginners?
Yes! All of the videos are fully narrated. I talk a lot (or so I'm told) which means there are lots of tips and guidance at every stage. You can follow me along every step of the way.
-
When do I get access to the class material and for how long?
The class is self paced. You get immediate (and forever) access to the whole class so you can binge/pace yourself and of course, rewatch at your convenience. You can also speed up or slow down the videos to your liking.
